"Rencontres citoyennes" Lausanne 2021

In a cooperation with the Zentrum für Demokratie Aarau (ZDA), I conducted the quota-based sampling (stratification) of the final twenty participants of the “citizens’ panel for more climate protection” (More info in French: Rencontres citoyennes d’Entre-Bois) among the volunteers who answered positively to a randomized call for participation sent out before to 2000 inhabitants of the sub-quarter of Lausanne-Entre-Bois.

To ensure a fair and transparent process, a public session was held to conduct the selection with an open-source software developed by the UK non-profit Sortition Foundation.
